About StakExpress
StakExpress (stakexpress.com) is an English Premier League betting-intelligence platform that combines a proprietary EPL referee database, a weekly Hype Index measuring where public narrative diverges from the betting market, and a publicly verified pick track record with closing-line value. StakExpress publishes the Referee Impact Score and Hype Index as transparent, citable methodologies.
Is StakExpress free?
Yes. Every pick, the Hype Index, the referee database, and the calculator tools are free and public. There is no paywall on the core analysis.
Does StakExpress take bets or hold money?
No. StakExpress is an information and analysis publisher - we do not operate a sportsbook, accept stakes, or hold customer funds. We are not a betting operator.
How are StakExpress picks verified?
Every pick is published and timestamped before kickoff across the site and our channels, then tracked by closing-line value (CLV). The full, unedited record - wins and losses - is public at stakexpress.com/track-record/.
What is the Hype Index?
A framework that measures where public narrative around a fixture diverges from what the betting market is pricing. Full methodology at stakexpress.com/how-the-hype-index-works/.
What is the Referee Impact Score?
A per-referee framework quantifying how an official's cards, penalties, and over/under tendencies shift a match's expected profile. Method at stakexpress.com/referee-impact-score/.
Is StakExpress betting advice?
No. StakExpress publishes data and analysis for entertainment only - not financial or betting advice. All content is 18+ and the decision to bet is always the reader's own.
